Good lord. A Top Chef recipe with fewer than two dozen ingredients? How did Ilan not get eliminated for this??????? ;-)

I can't believe this. So he cooked bacon, and not even in an interesting way like Lisa did in S4, and then cut it up into two cups of frozen corn kernels. And if I remember correctly, Gail was hyping his dish up for the top 3. What in the world? It's not even mildly appropriate for dining at TGIF. Surely this recipe is missing something. I'm sure it tastes great, but I would hope this wasn't in the bottom 3 only because oversalted surf and turf, bland sub sandwiches, and mushroom wonderland dishes are impossible to outbad.

I am amazed. So simple... yet after making it... pretty darn good.

I'm with Carla -- bring Gail back!
Eh -- too early to tell
