I was in utter disbelief! How dare they kick YOU off. I mean
A) Howie didnt plate his food and has had 1 too many chances
B)Casey's food sucks every other episode
C)CJ rarely does anything
.........the list goes on.........shame on the show!

If you would have maybe made the apple chunsk smaller-n softer n also maybe French bread-..........

I HEAR U SISTA! I THOUGHT SO TO. CJ SHOULD OF BEEN THE ONE TO GO. TRE WAS MY TOP CHEF. THE JUDGES DONT KNOW HOW TO JUDGE.

Lisa wrote:

Tre is WAYYYY better than Dale, Brian, CJ and especially CASEY. Why? Because his apples weren't cooked? He made cheesy grits! Sheesh.

Loved Tre.

I am soooo disappointed at your elimination! knowing that you are gone makes me not even want to watch the show. You are topped with last season's Cliff when it comes to style. You were one of the best cooks to me. Honestly, Cassie shoulda left instead of you. Tre I think you are a wonderful cook and you will be missed. ( You can be my private chef anyday ;))

Tre is an amazing Chef and always calm and team-oriented! I made the Apple & Brioche Bread Pudding and it tasted amazing...strange Judges in my opinion...I had him tagged to be TOP CHEF for Season 3...
I would LOVE to eat one of Tre's Dishes...cooked just for me :) He is too fine too!

I LOVED TRE!!! I was so mad when he got kicked off that I almost stopped watching the show altogether. He was the best chef on the show hands down and if he doesn't at least win fan fave I'll be severely angry.

RENISHA wrote:

I truly loved and respected Tre. He was my absolute favorite. The show is not the same and I miss him. When I look at the other contestants still there, I wonder why is he gone? God bless you and best of luck Tre in all that you do. I'd love to be on your cooking team.

I loved Tre's cooking! What a fabulous chef! I too was surprised he wasn't in the top two. For me it was between Hung and Tre. I loved how Tre chose to go out, though, in an EXTREMELY positive manner, that's how I would have done it too, happy for the great experience! After all, to even get onto the show, you have to be among the best!

Nora wrote:

this was the elimination that surprised me most. I thought CJ should have gone that episode. He didn't do anything to help Tre. He purposely left hung him out to dry.

Why did they take Tre off the show he is the REAL TOP CHEF Tre you need to make your own show all of america wants to see you!

Tanya wrote:

I was EXTREMELY disappointed in Top Chef when they let Tre go; I almost stopped watching. I agree with a few of the prior comments that there were other chefs (in that particular episode) that should have been let go ... can you say Howie? It definitely should have been a Tre/Hung showdown; even Hung admitted that Tre was his only challenger. I have to reiterate, to leave Howie, CJ, Casey (to name a few) and get rid of Tre was EXCEPTIONALLY short sighted of the judges.

Getting back to the recipe... are the apple chunks supposed to still be crunchy? They won't get much cooking if you follow the recipe. Seems like an awkward combination of textures.
