Tuna Steak & Tomatoes with Truffle Oil & Yuzu Vinaigrette

Prep Time: 15 minutes

Serves: 2

Directions:

Microwave rice on express for 90 seconds. Season tuna with truffle oil and butter and grill medium rare; slice.

Slice tomatoes and season with herbs, salt, pepper, yuzu and olive oil.

Ingredients:

1 bag Uncle Ben’s mixed wild rice
A fat piece tuna steak
A few drops truffle oil
A few pats butter
2 yellow tomatoes, sliced thick
A bit cilantro, chopped
A bit scallion, chopped
A bit basil, chopped
A bit tarragon, chopped
Salt and pepper to taste
A few splashes yuzu juice
A few splashes extra virgin olive oil

There are any number of chefs that deserve to be in the finals instead of Lisa. Absolutely horrible. Can't stand watching her stand up there at elimination time with that apathetic bitchy look on her face with her arms crossed. Appears to be completely non-professional in her cooking demeanor. The ones in the finals should be people who actually care to hear what everyone thought of their dish. Spike, Dale or Andrew, among others, deserve to be there instead.
