Hot-Acious Jalapeno Burger

Prep Time: 30 minutes

Serves: 6

Directions:

Burgers:
Bring canola oil to 350 degrees in high sided saucepan or fryer. Combine ground sirloin with onion, shallots, Parmesan cheese, parsley, salt and pepper. Form into 6 large patties and fry.

Bold Sweet Mustard Sauce:
Combine both mustards, honey, and lemon juice in a small bowl. Grill burgers in hot grill pan, approximately 5 minutes per side until desired doneness.

Toppings:
Add provolone cheese slice with olive oil and oregano to melt on top of burgers near end of cooking. Slice jalapeno peppers into strips and remove seeds and veins, salt and pepper.

Additional Ingredients:
Beat egg yolk in a mixing bowl and add cold beer and mix slightly. Add the rice flour and mix gently to combine, batter should be a little lumpy.
